We discovered the Miraj Stories App a month ago just in time for Ramadan. The girls and I absolutely LOVE it! For a while now we have been looking for an app for Muslim children with audio stories, interactive stories and games all in one. I was given the opportunity to review the app for a years free subscription. Everything in this review is from our own personal experience since using the app. Let me talk you through some of the features of the Miraj Stories App and why it’s a keeper for the kids!
The Miraj Stories app features a range of Islamic audio books, interactive books, animated books and fun games for primary school ages 4-11. The Islamic stories are engaging and full of morals including stories of the Prophets, stories with morals and references back to names of Allah.
The Arabic letters series ‘Arabic Letters – Naughty and Nice’ is a real hit with my kids. The interactive games and puzzles, dressing for Eid, steps of wudhu and salaah are such brilliant ideas. The creators have cleverly used simple app game ideas that children love and incorporated it into an Islamic learning context for our kids. The characters and stories that are unique to Miraj Stories App feature familiar animals, camels, monkeys, goats etc. The characters are really entertaining and captivate you when listening to or watching the stories. My girls love seeing new updates on the app and love listening to the stories again and again.
You can find out more at the Miraj Stories Website. Available on both Google Play and App Store.
